Powder coating produces a tough finish that is harder and more durable than paint. Advantages Over Paint
In addition to its harder and more durable finish, powder coating has a faster curing time. While traditional powders require curing at 200° C for 10 to 15 minutes, there are powders that cure with ultraviolet light and “low bake” thermosetting powders that allow powder coating heat-sensitive materials such as wood and plastics.
